After some time I finally lost 18 pounds. Using food to manage my feelings is probably one of the main reasons for not losing more weight faster. Seeing food as simply a source of energy which can be adjusted easily would make losing weight a cinch. There are plenty of methods available.
Simply eating less than calories spent will cause anyone to lose weight. Less food, more energy used = weight loss. By admitting and understanding how I like to eat when I feel good and when I feel bad and seeing myself more clearly has helped me get a better grip on things like snacking and overeating. Walking has been a huge help and I have learned to simply demand of myself to walk more, weather I feel like it or not.
