Everyone loves to eat the food they ate when they were growing up. Even if they now life in a country where that food is difficult to get and hardly anybody in the new country eats that.
Doesn’t that suggest we have an emotional connection to the foods we “choose” to eat? In America lots of kids grew up eating all sorts of junk food and even when you get older and know that junky food is bad for your health you still want it. Maybe not right this minute but… I know that when I have a “bad day” I will often start thinking about a nice bowl of ice cream.
Food comforts us. In times of stress, when we feel down, or bored, or empty, food is often something we turn ot to make us feel better. One way to get out of this is find new things to make us feel better. Activities that are not fat producing. Activities is the word. When you do something that makes you feel better you will find you have much less craving to eat.
There are also scientific based helps like you will find with this diet.
