It’s hopeless, can you believe this is what I ate today? 1 banana, then a big tomato cut up with pepper, garlic salt and a little cajun spice. A while later I am eating a salad of a chopped romaine heart, raisins and italian squash. If that was not bad enough I even made the dressing from scratch; mayonasie, olive oil, and almond extract. There is now way out. I am a vegie. I think little roots are starting to grow on my feet. I can talk with rabbits now!!!
He is a cute cat. nobody ever thought I was cute when I was fat. I don’t care about that all that much but the bad health aspects have required results. Making progess and a ways to go. Maybe someone will adopt me too.
Just a person like you that was sucked into the negative side effect of living in an affluent country with too many great tasting choices. I sit at the computer too much, I have to since this is my work. I like it a lot. Computers facinated me almost as much as something that tastes good.
So never give up, never say, well this is just how I am. I keep walking and keep making better food choices. Learning as I go along. I remember when I weighed 190 lbs. for a 6′2 person that is pretty good. At least my clothes are fitting better. I feel much better too. Yes, I still have a good 50 lbs to lose.

Over time I more and more lean towards the Atkins type of thinking. I read more and more studies that show me how carbs and sugars are really bad for my health, besides causing weight gain.
